Most of the standard variations are illustrated in the rest of the blog, but if you have any nice pics, or have modified a Source, or have a rosewood or gold deck, email me a photo to odysseytonearms at gmail dot com. If I find any pics on the web, I'll post them on the assumption that fans of the deck would approve of their pics being posted. (If I post a pic of yours and you wish it removed, just email me.)


1. So, to get started:  my version of the Source using platter, sub-platter, bearing, and motor. Built 2009.
It had a plywood sub-chassis, oak and ply plinth, and an Odyssey Gold Signature that I had made up from old  parts which had been rejected due to surface blemishes.

13. A Nice MRM Source fitted with Zeta tonearm and with 3D Power supply. Note the LED on the front of the deck. This was omitted in later Source-Odyssey models, and the PSU was changed:

23.   Pics of a Source with an oak plinth, beige top plate, tinted lid, bronze platter and sub platter, 24v dc reg wall mounted psu, possible gold plate on outer platter, gold plated fittings, no serial number but signed  by S. Lamb (the late Stephen Lamb, a director of Source -Odyssey).
Fitted with an Audio Technica AT 1200 (not AT1100) low mass arm and a Stanton 500 cartridge.
